Reach Trucks: Reach trucks are particularly designed narrow-aisle trucks that are designed for storage and retrieval. They are made of telescoping forks and outriggers which enable the operators to pick up a load and afterward retract it over the outriggers. These models are not the best suited for moving loads quickly over long distances nor for unloading or loading trucks. Similar to the order selector, reach trucks can be available for lifting heights that are higher than 30 feet.
Rotating-Mast Trucks and Turret Trucks: Like standard sit-down forklifts, rotating mast trucks have masts which could rotate in one direction, to a ninety degree angle. This feature allows them to operate within a narrow aisle situation. Turret trucks can work in very narrow or narrow aisle places. Like order selectors, these machinery are capable of elevating both the operator and the cargo. In addition, they can enable the operator to handle loads on either side of an aisle without exiting and re-entering the aisle.
Fuel Economy: On a European testing field, the Mitsubishi forklift has always shown less fuel per hour than similarly sized Nissan, Toyota and Hyster models. To be able to illustrate this point, compared to the Hyster truck, the FG25N utilized approximately 1 lb. less per hour. This amount of fuel can add up to thousands of dollars over the truck's lifetime.
Mitsubishi's electric forklift trucks using alternating current or AC use thermal efficiencies and many of the other new technologies to produce high efficiency ratings. These are amongst the features which make these models so popular.
Visibility: The Mitsubishi designers of diesel forklifts take into account both the opening between the mast channels and the free lift assembly with the result that all brand new trucks feature a a narrow lift cylinder and wider free space between the masts compared to their competitor's units. This design helps to reduce operator exhaustion and enhances visibility.
