Each unit in the T-Series line of 36 inch L.C. lift trucks uses a Tier Certified Cummins electronic turbocharged air after-cooled or air to air diesel engine. Some of the standard engine features comprise a water/fuel separator, maintenance and electronic diagnostic monitor, transmission/engine protection systems, less emissions and improved fuel economy.
For all of these models, the transmission is a 3-speed, fully reversing, modulated powershift transmission with electric shift control; a separate cooler for air-to-oil as well as declutch. Furthermore, the automatic powershift comes as a standard feature.

The forklift is a mobile machinery that uses 2 prongs or forks to lift and place loads into positions that will be usually hard to reach. Usually, forklifts fall into 2 major categories: industrial and rough-terrain.
Most often, industrial forklifts are used around truck loading docks and train loading docks as well as in warehouse applications. These machinery have smaller tires which are designed to run on paved surfaces. Normally, industrial forklifts are powered by an internal gasoline engine running on diesel fuel or propane.
There are some smaller industrial forklift units which use an electric motor running off an internal battery. As the name implies, rough terrain forklifts are designed to run on unpaved and rough surfaces. Commonly, they are the great alternative for military and construction operation. Rough terrain forklifts usually have big pneumatic tires which are usually powered by internal industrial engines which run on propane, diesel or propane fuel. These forklift models could have a telescoping boom, capable of lifting cargo up and out from the base of the equipment or they could utilize a vertical tower, that is responsible for carrying cargo straight up.
During 1946, the rough terrain forklift emerged as a 2 pronged lift attachment was placed on a tractor chassis or a power buggy. This initial machinery was used around construction locations and was able to lift to a height of thirty inches or seventy six centimeters and had a lifting capacity could carry 454 kg or one thousand pounds. Vertical tower forklifts were rapidly developed for industrial use and rough terrain forklifts became popular too. By the time the nineteen fifties came around, there were available models which could raise up to heights of thirty feet or 9 meters and had lift capacities of 1135 kg or 2500 pounds.
